According to recent media reports, EuroLeague teams will, after a long hiatus, finally be permitted to display their club's name on the front of their jerseys, a practice previously disallowed by regulations.
This jersey design is commonplace in the NBA and FIBA competitions, but it has been absent from EuroLeague courts. However, that's set to change. Teams will now be able to feature their club name on the front of their kit, alongside sponsor logos and crests, giving the equipment a more modern aesthetic.
It remains to be seen whether Partizan and Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet will seize this opportunity. We'll find out soon enough when the Belgrade rivals unveil their new season's jersey designs.
Judging by the training gear the black-and-whites wore as they kicked off their pre-season preparations, it appears Partizan is keen to adopt this option. We'll have to wait and see if the red-and-whites follow suit.
