Espanyol Strikes Early Against Osasuna, Holds On for Victory

Espanyol secured a 2-0 away victory over Osasuna in a La Liga fifth-round clash, thanks to two quick goals from Roberto Fernandez. The central striker found the net in the third minute and then again in the 17th.

Despite intense pressure from the home side afterward, Osasuna failed to even reduce the deficit.

This win marks Espanyol's second of the season, matching Osasuna's current tally.

Just a few months prior, in May at the end of the previous season, the Catalan side also triumphed 2-1 in their last encounter at this very stadium.
