During the interview, Badmus said:

"To me, I feel it is a regular thing. Moreover, me piercing my nose should not bother anybody because it is my nose. I’m not bothered about what people say. After all, people pierce different parts of their bodies and no one is talking about it. I do what I feel like doing so, anybody condemning it is wasting his time because I do what I feel like doing. So, whether you like it or not it is what I feel like doing and I have done it."

She is not the first actress that has suffered serious criticisms resulting from a septum ring, as actress, Uche Ugbodo, seems to have had it even worse.

Sadly, asking Nigerians to mid their business has done little or nothing when it comes to backing off from celebrity's personal lives.
