Brazilian national team forward Endrick has weighed in on his chances of participating in this summer's World Cup.
Over the winter, Endrick moved from Real Madrid to Lyon on loan until the end of the season. In 14 appearances for the French club, the 19-year-old has impressed with 6 goals and 5 assists.
"I didn't expect to start so strongly at Lyon, but God arranged for the impossible to happen. Until recently, I didn't believe I could play in a World Cup, but with God's help, it's possible. I have no doubts – I'll do my job and live day by day. I live in the present," Endrick stated.
"I need to train well at Lyon, follow my program, stay healthy, and prove myself in matches. If God wills it, I will go to the World Cup in June," the young forward added.
