Egyptian King's UK Scandal! English Authorities Ban Salah from Driving for Six Months After Luxury Rolls-Royce Speeds Through Town

Former Liverpool hero and legend, Mohamed Salah, has found himself in serious trouble with English law! The famous Egyptian forward has been handed a six-month driving ban after his luxury Rolls-Royce was caught speeding on English roads. What further angered the authorities was the fact that the footballer refused to cooperate with the police and would not disclose who was behind the wheel at the time of the offense!

According to official court documents, the former Premier League star's car was caught by a speed camera on March 27th in the town of Wilmslow. Salah's Rolls-Royce was traveling at 36 miles per hour (approximately 58 km/h) in a section of road where the speed limit is strictly enforced at 30 miles per hour (approximately 48 km/h). Cheshire Police immediately initiated proceedings and sent an official notification to the Egyptian ace's address, but Salah chose to completely ignore the authorities.

Salah Ignored Police

He neither pleaded to the charge nor informed the police who was driving his car. Consequently, the case was forwarded to Warrington Magistrates' Court under an "accelerated procedure," which allows judges to convene in closed, private hearings. He was convicted for deliberately failing to provide information about the driver's identity, resulting in a six-month driving ban in the UK, along with a fine of £1,044.

Interestingly, this traffic offense occurred just days after Salah shocked the football world by officially announcing his departure from Liverpool after nine spectacular and trophy-laden years at Anfield. Following the conclusion of the 2025/26 season, the Egyptian packed his bags and continued his career with Turkish club Trabzon. Although he no longer plays on the island, the penalty from the English judiciary awaits him whenever he sets foot on British roads again!
