Singer to headline concert in Accra

Efya will be performing live at the annual ‘Girl Talk’ concert in Ghana on Friday, December 18, 2015.

This will be the ‘Forgetting me’ singer’s biggest concert in the Gold Coast since her performance at Decibels with Nigerian singer Nneka in 2010.

The songbird’s upcoming gig will be at the National Theatre in Accra. Rehearsals for the ‘Girl Talk’ show are currently underway.

In October 2015, Efya entertained Lagosians at the weekly-held Industry Nite in Lagos, Nigeria.

The neo soul vocalist also revealed the artwork for her upcoming debut album called “Janesis” in October. The album was expected on October 10, 2015 but was postponed. It is now expected to be released sometime this month.

In 2014, the singer disclosed the album was to be called the “Love Genesis”. In January 2014, she released 'Forgetting me', after this she released ‘Gingam too much’ and in July 2014, the songwriter released ‘One of your own’ featuring Ghanaian highlife singer Bisa Kdei. All three songs are off her forthcoming album.

Fans have been expecting the Afro eclectic singer’s album since 2013 following the release of her mixtape ‘This Is Not The Album’ (also known as the ‘T.I.N.T’).
