5-Year-Old Boy Isolated Over Disease

A 5-year-old boy is being observed in New York after showing symptoms of Ebola.

The young child is said to have arrived the states from Guinea on Saturday, October 25, and is being watched in an isolation unit at the Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan.

The boy was admitted after vomiting and coming down with a 103 degree Fahrenheit (39 degrees Celsius) fever, ABC News reports.

The child has however not been tested for the virus and has also not been quarantined.

Ebola made its first appearance in New York when Dr. Craig Spencer, who treated patients in Guinea was confirmed to have the disease.

Spencer is said to be in good but serious condition and he is also being treated at the Bellevue hospital.
