Dwyane Wade's Son Arrested!

According to the American portal "TMZ", the young basketball player is facing three very serious charges: domestic violence, making threats, and unlawful imprisonment.

Following his arrest, authorities immediately issued an emergency protective order for the victim, who, despite visible injuries, was not hospitalized.

As reported by "NBC4", police responded to a call in the early morning hours (around 5:30 AM) after reports of a woman's screams coming from a house. Upon arrival, officers found Zaire Wade and a woman with visible injuries and cuts on her face and body.

The son of the NBA star spent some time in custody before being released on a $50,000 bail. Neither Zaire nor his famous father, Dwyane, have publicly commented on the incident so far.

Zaire Wade (6'3") has spent years trying to forge his own basketball identity and escape the label of "famous son." During his high school years, he played for the renowned Sierra Canyon in California, before honing his skills at the prestigious Brewster Academy.

Despite receiving offers from serious NCAA Division I programs like Nebraska, DePaul, Toledo, and Rhode Island, Wade Jr. opted to bypass college and jump straight into professional basketball. In 2021, he landed in the G-League, drafted by the Salt Lake City Stars (an affiliate of the Utah Jazz), a team his father was a minority owner of at the time.

Wade Jr. played only 13 games in the developmental league, averaging 4.6 points and 1.9 assists, before suffering a serious injury.

His professional journey then took him beyond the US borders – first to South Africa, where he was a member of the Cape Town Tigers, and then to Asia, playing for the Macau Black Bears.

Interestingly, American media reported in early 2026 that Zaire was considering a historic return to college, as he still had NCAA eligibility, and several universities had shown interest. However, following this incident, the continuation of his basketball career is now highly uncertain.
