Durovic Thrilled with Zvezda's New Addition: "I Want to Congratulate Milos Teodosic"

"It might not have been as magnificent as the first eight minutes, but it was outstanding for the entire 40 minutes—six players in double figures, everyone on the bench jumping, and the crowd absolutely thrilled. What I witnessed with Motley could only happen in Belgrade. A player who had been heavily criticized, who had even asked to sit out and couldn't find his rhythm, received full support from the crowd, who called for him and cheered him on. When he scored, the whole arena erupted. Hopefully, this will help him regain his confidence and hit top form. I am genuinely thrilled. Navarro started with a strong lineup, and when Chris Jones gets going, it looks phenomenal. A performance like this from Zvezda, as your colleague Nikola mentioned, sends a message across Europe. With this kind of form, shooting, and chemistry, Zvezda is a threat to anyone." — Vlade Durovic

"I would already like to congratulate Teodosic on the move and Zvezda as a club for the acquisition. If he keeps this up... I won't go so far as to say he'll be named the best signing in Europe by the end, but this guy has transformed Zvezda and their style of play, adding an entirely new dimension. Five blocks despite limited minutes. If Motley hadn't found his rhythm, he would have played even more. He needs minutes as this is his first time in Europe. There were 4,000 more fans in attendance than against Maccabi, and I'm convinced there would have been over 20,000 had they beaten Partizan, but that is a different story." — Vlade Durovic
