Đurović emphasized that Spartak deservedly became the champion of Serbia.

Spartak deservedly won, and FMP also deserves congratulations, not for their play or quality, but for their character. For 80% of their players, this was the game of their careers. I still don't know how the turnaround happened; we have a new champion. Subotica, as a city, deserves this. FMP has significant regrets, but as I said, someone has to win. Poor shooting percentages, that's my opinion. - Vlade Đurović

Nikola Lončar also commented on the game.

He gave his all tonight and showcased his quality. They fought until the end and showed character. In some situations, they were down by 13, 15 points... Congratulations to them, and to Spartak for the tournament. Both teams defeated Zvezda and Partizan, which is unusual. Spartak is growing year by year, and now they've secured their first trophy. The game, despite everything Zvezda and Partizan do, did not disappoint. The quality wasn't top-tier, but it was a final where Spartak deservedly triumphed. - Nikola Lončar

He also discussed the situation in overtime where it appeared Danilo Nikolić fouled Filip Barna on a three-point attempt.

We all agreed here that it was a foul. It should have been called. Yes, he moved forward and extended his legs, but Nikolić fell on him. Perhaps that decided the game. But I wouldn't criticize the referees. I don't know if it would have been good or not. It was dramatic. Even without Zvezda and Partizan participating, whoever won tonight is a success, and they defeated the eternal rivals. - Nikola Lončar
