Dubai Avoid Zvezda Hangover, Stun Cluj with Explosive Third Quarter!

Three days after their EuroLeague defeat to Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet, Xavi Pascual's side bounced back to secure their second victory in the ABA League.

Things didn't start smoothly for Dubai in Romania either, as the hosts carried a nine-point advantage into halftime (45-36). However, the third quarter completely flipped the script.

Dubai dominated the period 32-14 to seize control and ultimately lock down the win.

McKinley Wright paced the winning side with a team-high 14 points. Mfiondu Kabengele and Elie Okobo chipped in with 12 points apiece, while Filip Petrušev tallied seven points and six rebounds in 20 minutes on the floor.

On the other side, Kristian Kullamäe led all scorers with 19 points, while Javonte Smart added 18.

Dubai now turn their attention to a EuroLeague double-game week featuring road clashes against Baskonia and Milano, before returning home to host Studentski Centar. Meanwhile, Cluj travel to face Šiauliai in the EuroCup, followed by an ABA League showdown against Spartak.
