Draw at Riazor Knocks Real Madrid Out of Top 3

Deportivo La Coruña and Real Betis played out an entertaining 1-1 draw in their La Liga Matchday 7 encounter. The single point was enough for the Seville-based club to leapfrog Real Madrid into the top three of the league standings. Betis were even on the verge of victory, leading until the 87th minute before conceding a late equalizer.

Cucho Hernández put Betis ahead in the 43rd minute, but Diego Villares leveled the score late in the game.

Following this result, Manuel Pellegrini's side maintains an impressive record of just one defeat this season. The same can be said for La Coruña, who are newcomers to the top flight.
