Isaiah Mike is one of the most sought-after free agents in the EuroLeague, but it's highly probable we won't see him in Europe's elite competition next year.

Spanish outlet "Encestando" has reported that the Canadian player is set to return to the EuroCup after a two-year absence. He previously played for Bayern and Partizan in the last two seasons, but will now join Saša Đorđević at Bahçeşehir.

Interestingly, Mike had several offers from EuroLeague clubs, including Fenerbahçe. However, Bahçeşehir presented a more concrete offer, reportedly a three-million-euro deal. Such a salary would likely be unattainable at other EuroLeague teams.

It's clear that Mike is a key target for Bahçeşehir. During the 2023/2024 season with Bourg, he was named to the competition's All-First Team. He is also known to prefer a leading role on a team rather than being a rotational player.

How did Đorđević arrive at Bahçeşehir?

On the same day it was confirmed that Marko Barać had left the team's bench, Bahçeşehir officially announced their collaboration with the Serbian coach.

This move came as a significant surprise, as Đorđević was widely expected to return to Virtus, where he previously enjoyed success, and that deal seemed all but done. However, the Turkish club intervened and secured the signature of the legendary Serbian basketball figure.
