After the game, Partizan's coach, Đoan Penjaroja, shared his initial impressions.

Yes, I'm happy. I'm happy for two reasons – we came to play as a team, and I'm also happy for our fans. We played with energy; if we continue to play like this as a team, we'll always be closer to victory in this arena. We had some minor issues; we'll see what's up with Derrick Willis, that wasn't ideal for us, but we have to compete every time. We showed our intent despite the injuries; it's a big win for us. For me, it's always a pleasure to play in such an atmosphere, but it's just the first game; this is a 38-game marathon. Đoan Penjaroja
