Disgruntled Endrick Reportedly Eyeing Bernabéu Exit Again

Real Madrid forward Endrick is reportedly unhappy with his reserve status at the club and is once again eyeing an exit from the Santiago Bernabéu. The Brazilian has received minimal playing time under new manager José Mourinho and is considering a move to a new team where he can secure more minutes on the pitch.

Before the season began, Mourinho had convinced the player to stay, asserting that the 20-year-old talent would be given ample opportunities to shine. However, this has yet to materialize. This season, Endrick has made just one four-minute appearance in the 3-2 victory over Elche, remaining an unused substitute in three matches and sidelined with injury for four others.

Former AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti, now at the helm of the Brazilian national team, has also expressed dissatisfaction with the situation.

“The problem for Brazilian youngsters is that they don't develop because they don't play regularly. This is happening with Endrick, but also with talents like Estevão. They go to Europe at 18 or 19 to big clubs and can't find a place. Without playing, they cannot develop. We have some very young and promising talents, and Endrick will become important for Brazil in the future, but they need to play,” Ancelotti stated.

The good news for Endrick is that there's no shortage of interest. He is once again being linked with Italian giants AC Milan and AS Roma. Both clubs had made inquiries last summer, hoping to replicate the strategy Real Madrid employed when they loaned Franco Mastantuono to Fiorentina. Roma and Milan are optimistic they can persuade both the player and Real Madrid to allow him another mid-season loan spell, this time in Serie A.

A similar scenario unfolded for the forward last season. Endrick, having lost patience, moved on loan to Lyon in January 2026, where he impressively scored eight goals and provided eight assists in just 21 official matches.
