Diego Simeone on Julián Álvarez's Future: Focus on Cape Verde

Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone has for the first time addressed the potential departure of star player Julián Álvarez, who has reportedly received an offer from Barcelona.

"His future, for now, is the match against Cape Verde. The best thing he can do is focus on that and not think about all the speculation, so he doesn't get sidetracked. Things always work out; that's how life is," said Cholo Simeone.

Diego Simeone firmly believes that Álvarez is currently Atletico's best player, stating that he "has always performed at his best for the team."
