Former Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo has launched another scathing attack on the Scuderia, stating that the team suffers from a lack of strong leadership.

"What's hardest for me to accept as a Ferrari fan is that the team is no longer in the title fight, not even close to it," the 79-year-old Di Montezemolo told the newspaper AS. "They need to solve this problem."
"Ferrari's drivers no longer have the opportunity to compete for the title until the very end of the championship; they fall behind too early. This saddens me."
Di Montezemolo led Ferrari during Michael Schumacher's five consecutive world titles, and Kimi Räikkönen's 2007 championship remains the Scuderia's last world title.
"In Formula 1, you need a perfectly organized team and a strong leader," Luca added. "Enzo Ferrari was the greatest of all time, but when I was close to him, Jean Todt was gaining strength and momentum."

"Today, looking from the outside, I think Ferrari lacks leadership. It's very clear to see."
