Devastated Loyd on James' Injury: We Know It's Very Bad...

Jordan Loyd had little to say following Anadolu Efes' game in Belgrade. The former Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet player returned to Belgrade Arena with the Turkish side, but the contest was completely overshadowed by a severe injury to teammate Mike James.

James suffered an injury during the second half that silenced the entire arena, and Loyd addressed his teammate's situation after the game. The Efes guard had no desire to dwell on the match itself, emphasizing that the team's sole focus is now on supporting James.

"I honestly don't have much to say about the game. All our thoughts are with Mike, and we'll be there to support him. It's really difficult to watch that happen. We don't know the full extent of the injury, but we know it's very bad. If anyone can bounce back from this, it's him. It will take a lot of mental strength, but right now, all we want is to be there for him." — Jordan Loyd

Loyd finished the clash against his former club as Efes' top scorer, tallying 17 points, seven rebounds, and three assists. He went 5-for-8 (63%) from the field and was perfect from the free-throw line (4-for-4).
