Sport is a good thing, it keeps us fit but some games are deadly and could leave us paralyzed forever.

That been said, minor league basetball player, Delino DeShields Jr is still recovering at a hospital after he almost lost all of his teeth and his jaw bones in a game weeks ago.

The star became an internet buzz after his face was hit with a 90mph fastball landing him in an emergency ward which left almost everyone scared to death if he was going to survive.

Well he did! Even though DeShields can't say anything – yet – he sent out a text message to a few reporters to say "he's well on the road to recovery" thanks to a strict liquid diet coz the dude can’t chew!
