De Zerbi: Richarlison is no longer my problem

Tottenham head coach Roberto De Zerbi has once again been questioned about Richarlison's situation. The Brazilian has been left out of the Premier League squad and featured for the Under-21s in midweek, amid an increasingly strained relationship with the manager.

"That is no longer my problem. You have to ask other people (the Tottenham hierarchy). It's not my problem. I know that as a coach I have to support and take responsibility, even in cases where it isn't mine. I didn't decide anything in this situation. If he wants to speak to me, he knows where to find me. I have no issue with anyone, but I don't want to discuss this any further because my focus is on the Coventry match," De Zerbi said.

Spurs host Coventry tomorrow looking to claim their first league win of the campaign. The north London side have endured a dismal start to the season, sitting bottom of the table with just three points. "Coventry are a good side and had a fantastic season in the Championship last year. They play with energy and have quality, but we are Tottenham. We want to showcase our qualities and earn the victory," De Zerbi stated ahead of the clash.

The Italian tactician also revealed that Savinho faces several weeks on the sidelines due to a muscle injury. Spurs will also be without Lucas Bergvall tomorrow, with a knee issue expected to keep him out for around two weeks. On a positive note, Dejan Kulusevski returns to the matchday squad for the first time since May 2025.
