"We really had a meeting. Guys were asking, 'What are we going to do? Do we want to shut everything down?' And all eyes were on LeBron," recalled Davis, now with the Washington Wizards, who was instrumental in the Lakers' 2020 championship run.

"We were all in one room, and CJ (McCollum) was leading the meeting. They asked, 'What are we doing?' LeBron said we're continuing. After that, no other voice mattered," Davis added.
