Pop star, Davido has consented to a collaboration with YBNL act Adekunle Gold.
This came in hours after the ‘Aye’ hitmaker signed a classy recording deal with America’s Sony Music in presence of his manager, Kamal Ajiboye and elder brother, Adewale Adeleke in New York.
Amidst several congratulations following the announcement of Davido’s recording the deal with Sony Music, popular political commentator and social media blogger, Japheth Omojuwa wished for the collaboration. The ‘Orente’ hitmaker r esponded with enthusiasm to the idea, and Davido gave his blessing.
Davido has revealed that he has just signed a global deal with Sony Music Global.
The news reports reveal that the father-of-one is presently the first African artist to be signed to Sony Music Global.
The popstar shared photos on Instagram, commenting:
"TO ALL THOSE THAT DOUBTED ME!! ITS A DONE DEAL! 1ST AFRICAN ARTIST TO SIGN A GLOBAL RECORD DEAL !! MY STORY IS JUST STARTING!! MY MOTHER IS SMILING IN HEAVEN RIGHT NOW!! SONY MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT !! OWO TI WOLE @sonymusicglobal."
The photos showed the the star signing the papers with his brother, Adewale Adeleke (Chairmanhkn) and his manager, Kamal Ajiboye, as well as the Sony Music Global team behind him.
