The too much excitement about going on your first date could land you into some serious trouble. When preparing to head out for the big event be careful with what to and not to wear for that special one. Here are some ideas of what not to wear on your first date.

1.) Baggy Jeans

This is complete no, no! Boys should stay away from baggy jeans on their first date careless where the location is. It doesn't just suit the occasion but it comes out as irresponsible and a fashion misfit.

2.) Tail suits and French hats

If we complain about baggy jeans, it doesn't mean a tail suit and a French hat is the ideal choice for your first date. Except you both are going for an opera, please keep this safe in your closet.

3.) No shades inside the venue

Some guys feel it's stylish donning a pair of sunglasses to complement their outfit. It's true, but that's perfect outside. Imagine sitting across the table with her in your dark shades, people might think you are blind. So, give it up while inside that building.

4.) Over accessorizing

No one said you shouldn’t bling up on your first date but be careful not to do it too much. Rings on all five or ten fingers,  huge chains dangling on your neck, big earrings drooping down your neck or a massive gold/silver belt on your tommy… why?

5.) Check your underwear

This goes to women most especially. Make sure your underwear isn’t spilling out of your dress at dinner. Choose the colors of your bra. He doesn't want to see animal skin color bra through your red see-through top. Neither will your thong be admired when it keeps moving away from your trousers. Just check, it won't hurt if you do!

6.) Not too much makeup

A first date is for two people to get to know each other better not for one person to leave wondering how the other really looks like sans make-up. Go minimal on everything including your makeup. Too much will distract your partner from knowing the real you.
