Chelsea's woes continue to mount. Yesterday, the London club suffered a crushing 3-0 defeat to Brighton, marking their fifth consecutive league loss. Their chances of qualifying for next season's Champions League are diminishing with each passing match.

Hours before the Brighton clash, a social media post revealed that Cole Palmer and João Pedro would miss the game. This information proved accurate, as neither player was included in the squad. There had been no prior public information regarding Palmer's absence, while Pedro was listed as doubtful. The post appeared to originate from Cucurella's hairdresser, as the Spaniard's hair was visible in the photo. Subsequently, both the post and the account were deleted.

This marks the third instance since Liam Rossinier's arrival that Chelsea's squad information has leaked before its official announcement. Similar leaks occurred before both Champions League matches against Paris Saint-Germain. At the time, Rossinier stated that the club had addressed the situation and that there were no malicious intentions behind the leaks.
