Crystal Palace have officially announced the signing of Spanish defender Oscar Mingueza. The footballer joins from Celta Vigo and has penned a four-year deal with the Premier League club.
“I’m really excited to be here. It’s an honour for me to join Crystal Palace, and I can’t wait to see the fans at Selhurst Park,” Mingueza shared in an official statement.
Mingueza, a native of Catalonia, is a product of Barcelona’s renowned La Masia academy. He made his first-team debut in 2020, accumulating 66 appearances and helping the team secure the Copa del Rey.
The 27-year-old defender arrives at Selhurst Park after playing 147 matches for Celta since his transfer in 2022. He is expected to bring significant top-level and European competition experience to new manager Pierre Sage’s squad.
