The Belgrade powerhouse started their European campaign on the back foot, dropping their opener at home to Zalgiris.

Now, it is all about making amends.

Hapoel Tel Aviv visit Belgrade on Tuesday, followed by Anadolu Efes on Thursday.

The tactician addressed whether Patrick Baldwin will be available for the upcoming fixtures.

"We'll make a decision on Tuesday. We can't afford to leave three guys off the roster just to include someone who is at 50-50. We need to be completely sure."

Navarro also revealed another injury concern within the squad.

"Chima Moneke also had an issue yesterday and wasn't able to complete the full practice session. We will consult with our medical staff and physiotherapists before making a final call tomorrow."

What Zvezda need to fix

The Spanish coach highlighted that his team took away crucial lessons from the defeat against Zalgiris.

"The main issue was our defensive transition. In the fourth quarter, if I recall correctly, we gave up 12 points due to poor foul management and weak transition defense. That's something we discussed extensively throughout the week because it proved very costly. We can perform much, much better, and we certainly will. There are other areas to polish as well, such as our offensive rebounding. While we didn't commit many turnovers, that was partly because we weren't pushing the pace in transition. They applied heavy pressure after our defensive rebounds and even on baseline inbounds. That is definitely something we must handle better. We also need to keep our playmakers fresher for the closing stages. Perhaps, particularly in the third quarter, we should have used Stefan Miljenovic to give them a breather and elevate our defensive intensity."
