"Cristiano's future isn't important. I'll speak with my family later."

Kátia Aveiro hinted that Cristiano Ronaldo's career might be nearing its end, a statement made before Portugal's Round of 16 clash against Croatia at the 2026 World Cup. Following the match, the national team captain addressed his future.

"Cristiano's future isn't important right now. I'll speak... I'll have time, after winning or losing, I'll talk with my family and then I'll make the best decision. I no longer make decisions in the heat of the moment; now everything is calm. For now, it's about enjoying today," he told Sport TV.
