This transfer ensures the 22-year-old will continue to compete in the Premier League, following his former club Burnley's relegation to the Championship. At his new club, Tchaouna will play under the management of Frank Lampard.

Before his move to England, the wide forward gained experience with Italian club Lazio, where he made 32 appearances, scoring three goals and providing one assist. His career also includes stints at Strasbourg, Rennes, and Dijon. For the French youth national team, he has earned 10 caps and scored one goal.

“I will bring energy, determination, and leadership. I’ve played in Ligue 1, Serie A, and the Premier League, which is the strongest league in the world. I’ve accumulated significant experience for my young age,” Tchaouna told the media.
