Conor McGregor continues to prove he remains the biggest draw in the UFC – a title he shows no signs of relinquishing anytime soon, if ever.
Despite a five-year hiatus and returning from a broken leg sustained in his last fight in 2021, the Irish superstar still captivates audiences like no other in the sport. The clearest evidence of this comes from the initial ticket sales for his bout against Max Holloway at UFC 329, set to take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Ticket sales are handled by AXS, with prices for a single seat to witness McGregor's comeback reaching up to $24,600. Currently, the cheapest available tickets are priced at $1,822. According to current sales, the most expensive options are for third-row seats near the Octagon, while those in the fourth row on the opposite side are selling for $15,990 each.
A limited number of ringside seats are still available, with the cheapest option priced at just over $7,300. While more affordable tickets in the upper tiers of the arena for under $2,000 were initially available, they sold out extremely quickly from the start of presales last week. Currently, the cheapest available ticket for McGregor's return is for a last-row seat in the T-Mobile Arena, costing $1,822.
It's important to note that none of the listed prices include taxes or fees, which will further increase the final cost for buyers. Beyond standard tickets, OnLocation – the events division of UFC owners, TKO Group Holdings – also offers VIP packages for fans with deeper pockets.
The two most expensive packages, including the "Elite" option with front-row seating, are already completely sold out. The second-highest priced package, named "Rising Star," is also exhausted, despite the event being six weeks away. The remaining VIP options start from $13,500 and $8,000 per person. The more expensive package includes a VIP event ticket, lower-level seating, reserved access to the ceremonial weigh-ins, a post-weigh-in reception featuring UFC fighters, and access to a special area within the arena where athletes are also expected to be present.
The more affordable option offers a VIP ticket, ringside seating, an Octagon experience after the fights, reserved access to the ceremonial weigh-ins, and a post-weigh-in reception with fighters. The final gate receipts for the event will be announced on the night of the gala, but all signs point to a grand return for the UFC with the highly anticipated comeback of the Irishman.
In his career, the former two-division champion has generated gate revenues exceeding $17 million, but those events took place in 2016 and 2018, respectively. Given the immense interest in his upcoming fight with Holloway at UFC 329, McGregor could achieve his biggest gate revenues yet – outside of his boxing match against Floyd Mayweather, which brought in over $55 million.
