These are the 13 hottest new hotels in the world

The saying goes - 'the only constant thing in life is change', and there's no greater proof of this than the tourism and hospitality space.

There are a new set of cool kids in the hotel space and travel website, Conde Nast Traveler picked 60 winners on six continents for its 20th annual HOT List of the world's best new hotels.

andBeyond Benguerra Island in the Bazaruto Archipelago, Mozambique emerged the top pick from Africa and the Middle East region.

Other hotels on the list include Four Seasons Hotel, Seoul (South Korea), COMO The Treasury, Perth (Australia) amongst others.

Speaking on the selection, CN Editor-in-Chief, Pilar Guzmán said:

"We want to steer you to places which offer that push-pull of foreignness and familiarity comfortable but also defiantly out of your comfort zone,"

Following the selection of 60 hotels, CNN Travel asked Conde Nast Traveler editors to pick a baker's dozen of their favorite properties from the pile.

All of the said hotels have opened in the last 12 months.
