Young Brazilian talent Savinho has reportedly made a definitive decision about his career ahead of the new season, according to the latest reports from England. Last season, he wasn't a guaranteed starter for Manchester City, featuring in 36 matches across all competitions. In those appearances, the winger accumulated a total of 1502 minutes, scoring four goals and providing two assists. Now, he's seeking a new challenge and is looking to depart the Etihad.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Savinho has informed Manchester City's management of his desire to leave the club during the current summer transfer window.
“The Brazilian star wants to play regularly and more often to continue his technical development. Manchester City's management is now fully aware of the situation and his wishes, though it should be noted that the final decision on this move rests with the club,” Romano stated.
Tottenham is closely monitoring the situation. Romano indicated that the London club has identified Savinho as one of their primary targets, with reports suggesting the Spurs have been tracking the winger since last May.
Savinho joined City in the summer of 2024 from French side Troyes. In October 2025, he signed a long-term contract, tying him to the Citizens until the summer of 2031.
