New York Knicks' key player Josh Hart weighed in on the final day of the football transfer window.
Hart, a devoted Chelsea fan, was closely following the Blues' last-minute attempt to secure Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara.
It appeared the London club had reached an agreement with Monaco for the midfielder's transfer, valued at €55 million ($64 million). However, Monaco pulled out of the deal at the eleventh hour, leaving Chelsea without their target.
This sudden turn of events provoked a strong reaction from Hart.
"Monaco is a club that resembles a circus full of clowns," Hart posted on social media platform X.
Hart later followed up with another message on X, suggesting that Chelsea should cease dealings with Saudi Pro League teams if Monaco were to sell any of their players to Saudi Arabia.
Unlike Premier League clubs, Saudi Pro League teams still have the ability to sign new players, as their transfer window remains open until October 12.
"Chelsea should tell all Saudi clubs that if they do business with Monaco, future deals with them are off. Let Monaco drown in a financial crisis," Hart declared.
