Former Red Bull boss Christian Horner has revealed the only team that could tempt him back into Formula 1 without him becoming a shareholder.

The Briton was released by the Bulls midway through the 2025 season after more than two decades at the helm. Since then, he has repeatedly stated he has no interest in returning to a mere employee role, but would make an exception for just one team: the “sleeping giant” Ferrari.
“I was an employee, I sat on the pit wall for 21 years, I don't want to go back and do that again. At this stage of my life, there's only one team I would agree to work for without being a shareholder. Would I consider Ferrari? I mean, Ferrari is the biggest brand in Formula 1, it's a dream. And you could say Ferrari is the sleeping giant of Formula 1,” Horner commented in an interview with The Times.
