In the post titled "These Young filmmakers amongst us," Novia described the young fimmakers as "upstarts" and "Artistic infantilism," while likening their careers to "bubble gum."

Reacting to the post, described Charles Novia as an attention-seeking blogger with nothing but pedestrian opinions to offer.

Novia also responded to Ihidero's tweets, which he described as 'veiled insulting Tweets."

The Motion Picture Practitioners Council of Nigeria (MOPPICON) Billwas created over 10 years ago after a group of industry practitioners sat to draft it.

Recently, Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, announced the inauguration of a Ministerial Committee aimed at fast-tracking the passage into law of the MOPPICON Bill.
