Serbian basketball player Uroš Plavšić has left Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet and will play for Cluj next season.

The towering center has departed Crvena Zvezda after two years and will continue his career with the Romanian club, as confirmed by the team from Mali Kalemegdan.

Plavšić is Cluj's seventh reinforcement this summer. He joins Bobe Nicolescu, Otis Livingston, Jaylen McCrory, Dušan Beslać, Malcolm Hill, and Dževon Bes in Transylvania.

He spent the first half of the past competitive season at Mali Kalemegdan, winning the Radivoj Korać Cup with Zvezda. He then helped Bordeaux secure promotion to the top tier of Turkish basketball in the second half, averaging 11.7 points and 9.2 rebounds.

Uroš Plavšić joined the red and whites two years ago, after winning an Olympic bronze medal with the Serbian national team. He played for the club he supported since childhood and won the Radivoj Korać Cup with Crvena Zvezda. After his stint in Turkey, he will continue his career with Cluj.
