Celta Vigo announced on Sunday that they will face Académico de Viseu in a pre-season friendly on July 29th, kicking off at 7:00 PM. The match, which will be the Galician side's fourth preparatory fixture, will be played behind closed doors at the Ciudad Deportiva Afouteza.
The La Liga club described the Viseu outfit as "a team with experience in Portuguese football, known for their collective discipline," adding that the encounter "will be a high-level test for Celta to continue accumulating minutes and competitive rhythm."
It's worth noting that the 'Viriatos' squad, under the guidance of Bruno Pinheiro, is currently undergoing a pre-season training camp in Cadiz, southern Spain, where they will remain until Saturday, the 18th.
