The filmmaker started acting in soap operas such as ‘Everyday People’, ‘One Too Much’ and ‘Saints and Sinners’ early on in his career.

After establishing himself as one of Nollywood’s biggest actors, Desmond Elliot started directing and producing movies such as and many others.

In 2014 Desmond Elliot moved into politicsunder the platform of the APC.

In June 2015, he was sworn into office at the Lagos State House of Assembly as a member representing Surulere 01 Constituency.
