Sandra Bullock Beats Jennifer Aniston And Angelina Jolie As Forbes Highest Earner

Sandra Bullockis now the highest earning actress in Hollywood - beating Jennifer Lawrence, Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston - with a net worth of over $51 million from June 2013 to June 2014, according to Forbes list of highest-earning actresses released on Monday August 4.

The 50 year old Oscar winner apparently reached that financial mark from just movie profits alone; even though she had just two movies released last year – The Heat and Gravity. She also lost Best Actress in a Leading Role trophy to Cate Blanchett (for Blue Jasmine) at the 2014 Oscars, but Bullock took the most money to the bank from the fiscal year.

Bullock co-starred with George Clooney in the space thriller Gravity in which their characters are the only humans floating in the space for the entire movie, but that film reportedly grossed $716 million around the globe.

Others who made the big list include: Games of Thrones' Jennifer Lawrence ($34M), Jennifer Aniston ($31M), Gwyneth Paltrow ($19M) and Angelina Jolie and Cameron Diaz tie at number five with $18 million each.

Forbes calculated the number of earnings based on estimates given from agents, producers, lawyers and other sources within the business to determine who earned the most during a 12 month period, according to UK's DailyMail.

The top ten actresses reportedly brought in a total of $226m in 2013 compared to the top ten actors who finished the year earning a combined $419m together.
