Casemiro has dismissed the possibility of remaining at Manchester United beyond the current season. The Brazilian has been performing well above expectations under Michael Carrick, even scoring two goals in his last three league appearances. United announced back in January that Casemiro would be departing Old Trafford in the summer. He will leave having played over 150 matches for the Red Devils during his career.
"I'm still genuinely enjoying my time at Manchester United. This is a big club, and the fans have been excellent with me, but I haven't changed my decision. However, I'm sure my final matches for Manchester United will be difficult (emotional)," the Brazilian stated.
"Michael specializes in my position; he was a truly great player. That makes things easier for me. Our goal is to get Manchester United back into the Champions League," added the midfielder, who has helped the team win seven of their last ten matches.
