Tyson Fury Summoned By The British Boxing Board Of Control Over Chisora Tirade

Boxer insists on not attending the hearing slated for August 13; threatens to withdraw from BBBofC if sanctioned

Irish boxer Tyson Fury, 25 has been summoned by the British Boxing Board of Control (BBofC) for the use of foul language on Dereck Chisora at a promotional news conference for the aborted August 26 fight between the two fighters.

Tyson went on a tirade of abusive words, threatening the 6ft 1in 30 year-old to fight him there and then.

The BBBofC general secretaryRobert Smith said as regards the verbal abuse: thereby calling for a misconduct hearing on August 13, but the 6ft 9in Irish boxer said that he will not attended any hearing.

Tyson had said unapologetically:

The fight has been postponed to a later date due to the injury sustained by the Zimbabwean born British fighter Dereck Chisora, however, the hearing is still scheduled to sit.

Tyson stands to have his British boxing licence revoked if he is found guilty of misconduct.

On the other hand, the Irishman insists on not attending the August 3 hearing, declaring that:
