Femi divulged details of this and more, and why he is at a good place with life after Kennis Music.

“I think the most constant thing in life is change. And I have to say I’m loving the change. Kennis Music was good to me while I was there. I do ask this question: without Kennis Music, would you know who Capital FEMI is?” FEMI explained.

“Chances are no. I appreciate everything they have done for me in my career to get m to where I am. But I’m really excited, about my new team, and a new view about a lot of different things right now.”

Capital FEMI recently released a new single ‘Tumbo’, which is a highlife romantic tune. The singer still maintains that his exit from Kennis Music has not altered his sound. The only change is that of personnel. He has a new team now.

“The sound hasn’t really changed, it’s just giving you a different Capital FEMI in the fusion that you used to hear it. But I’m still an R&B act, you will still get the classics from me.”
