Cafu on Real Madrid: “I wouldn’t change a thing about this team”

Legendary Brazilian full-back Cafu disagrees with the notion that Real Madrid is currently in crisis and in need of significant changes. The former defender, who never played for the “Whites,” offered his perspective on the situation at the Bernabéu club.

“I wouldn’t change a thing about this team,” Cafu stated. “I would leave Real Madrid exactly as they are. In recent years, they’ve reached numerous Champions League finals. People say Real Madrid and Barcelona are in crisis because they’re eliminated in the Champions League quarterfinals. Real Madrid is a great club, and it’s normal for them not to reach every final. I would love to play for this Real Madrid or Barcelona today, despite their ‘crises’.”

The Brazilian was a guest at the Laureus Awards ceremony in Madrid.
