"I'm Not As Stuck-Up As People Think"

It is said that looks could be deceiving and no one understands this better than Bukky Karibi-Whyte, CEO Bobby Taylor Company.

The African American History graduate admitted that although many people perceive her as stuck up, she is infact an extremely nice person.

"I'm very grounded. I'm not as shakara-ish as I appear to be. I eat puff puff fried by a local woman and I eat Ghana high food. The women there know me by name."

On why people perceive her as b*tchy, Bukky says she's had to be twice as ballsy to operate in a male-dominated field.

"I'm perceived to be a bitch and that's fine. Some people say I speak too strong and I say my mind but I'm an extremely nice person and I've had to be strong because I'm female so you need to develop a tough skin and get more balls and be more gutsy to do the things that the guys are able to do. So if I come up too strong its because I have to be more gutsy to be able to compete with guys on the same level."
