The governors present at the meeting include Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai; Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello; Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje and Yobe State governor, Ibrahim Geidam.

Others are Niger State governor, Abubakar Bello; Plateau State governor, Simon Lalong; and Adamawa State governor, Jibrilla Bindow.

The governors joined the president for Friday's Juma'at Prayer at the State House before proceeding to a closed-door meeting.
