British death toll from Tunisia attack rises to 21 - PM Cameron's spokeswoman

The number of <strong>Britons </strong>confirmed killed by an <strong>Islamist</strong> gunman in <strong>Tunisia </strong>last Friday has risen to 21 from 18, a spokeswoman for <strong>British</strong> Prime Minister <strong>David Cameron</strong> said on Tuesday.

The spokeswoman said the government was trying to confirm the identities of a further nine people killed in the attacks who it thought were British nationals.

Tunisia's health ministry said on Tuesday it had so far identified 27 bodies from Friday's resort hotel gun attack, including 19 British, three Irish, one Belgian, two German, a Russian citizen and a Portuguese national.
