Bomb Blast In Niger State

An explosion has occurred in the Kontagora area of Niger State today, November 12.

A female suicide bomber is said to have detonated an explosive device at the entrance of the Federal College of Education library at about 12.30pm.

One student is believed to be dead while the suspected bomber was burnt beyond recognition.

The incident has been confirmed by the Provost of the college, Dr. Nathaniel Odediran and the area has been cordoned off by the military.

The Police spokesperson in the state, ASP Ibrahim Gambari, also confirmed the incident to the News Agency of Nigeria saying:

“We shall get to you when we get full details”
