The 18-year-old, a regular starter for Paysandu, was approached by the Rio giants with an offer that would see him integrated into their senior team only in 2027. However, the athlete rejected the proposal, believing that a return to youth football would not be beneficial for his career progression.

Clubs like Fortaleza and Internacional had previously shown interest in signing him, but the player is keen on a move to Europe. He is currently evaluating offers from SC Braga and Estrela da Amadora for the summer transfer window. The same source indicates that these clubs are prepared to meet his release clause, estimated at around 500,000 euros.

In the event of a transfer, Paysandu would retain a percentage of the player's economic rights, estimated between 10% and 20%. A move to Portuguese football could materialize from July 1st, which marks the opening of the transfer window in Portugal.

A product of Paysandu's academy, Pedro Henrique made his senior team debut in the final stages of the 2025 Série B season, starting in four of his five appearances and earning praise from the coaching staff. This current 2026 season, after recovering from an injury, he has established himself as an undisputed starter, winning the Campeonato Paraense and, to date, has played nine games and scored two goals.
