Interestingly, Alimpijević secured this victory against his compatriot and fellow coach, Marko Barać, who is in his inaugural season at the helm of Bahçeşehir.

Beşiktaş dominated the encounter, but the second game will also be remembered for a skirmish between players from both teams. In the closing moments, with 28 seconds left on the clock and Beşiktaş already holding a commanding 79:71 lead, ensuring their victory, an incident unfolded.

Malachi Flynn, the home team's star player, committed an unsportsmanlike foul, shoving a Beşiktaş player who ended up in the stands. This provoked a reaction from Anthony Brown, a visiting player, and soon Caleb Homesley intervened, subsequently pushing Brown and the referee into the stands.

The chaos quickly subsided, and the game was brought to a close. Beşiktaş triumphed 82:72 and will now face the winner of the third game in the other semifinal, featuring Bourg and Turk Telekom.
