Bournemouth claimed a 2-0 victory over Leeds United in round nine of the Premier League, extending their fine run of form to six consecutive wins across all competitions. Evanilson (31') broke the deadlock in the first half following a costly error from goalkeeper James Trafford, before Amine Adli (90+5') sealed the points deep into stoppage time. Bulgaria international Ilia Gruev was included in the Yorkshire side's matchday squad but remained an unused substitute.

The hosts took the lead in the 31st minute when Trafford misplaced a pass while playing out from the back, gifting possession directly to Justin Kluivert. The Dutchman capitalized immediately, squaring the ball for Evanilson to tap into an empty net. Daniel Farke's men had enjoyed moments of their own prior to the goal and attempted to respond, but struggled to create clear-cut opportunities in front of the Cherries' goal.

The contest remained evenly balanced after the break, with Leeds turning to Anton Stach, Sean Longstaff, and Lukas Nmecha from the bench in search of an equalizer. However, the visitors continued to falter in the final third. Rayan had a decent chance to double Bournemouth's advantage, only to drag his shot wide, while Stach squandered two openings at the other end to bring Leeds back into the game.

Bournemouth eventually put the result beyond doubt in the dying moments. Eli Junior Kroupi pounced on an error by Longstaff and set up Amine Adli, who produced a clinical finish to make it 2-0. The win cements Bournemouth's rich vein of form, while Leeds remain with just a single league victory this season. Next up, Daniel Farke's side host Tottenham.
