Boston Hands $56 Million Deal to Portuguese Center

Boston Celtics' starting center, Neemias Queta, has inked a new deal with the club, ESPN reports.

The contract is a four-year agreement valued at a total of $56 million.

The 26-year-old Portuguese big man, standing at 213 centimeters, started 75 games last season. He concluded the campaign averaging 10.2 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game, all career-highs.

Just days ago, Boston acquired another player for Queta's position. Mitchell Robinson, a champion with the New York Knicks, signed a three-year deal worth just over $47 million.
